Jennifer Fisher (Jen), MSN, APRN, FNP-C

With over 14 years of nursing experience—including two years in both primary care and oncology as a nurse practitioner—Jennifer Fisher (Jen), MSN, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings a well-rounded clinical perspective and a deep passion for holistic, root-cause healing.  She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Virginia Wesleyan University in Norfolk, Virginia, followed by her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Capella University in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She later completed her Master of Science in Nursing Science at Walden University. Prior to joining our team, Jennifer practiced at TPMG West Point Family Medicine.

Expertise & Passion:

Jen has particular clinical interests in:

  • acute and chronic conditions
  • hematology/oncology
  • depression
  • anxiety
  • women’s health
  • overall wellness
  • disease prevention
  • longevity

Jennifer’s career has spanned a wide range of clinical settings, including med/surg, ambulatory surgery and post-anesthesia care (PACU), oncology ICU, and outpatient oncology infusion. As a nurse practitioner, she has worked extensively in oncology, caring for patients navigating complex diagnoses, treatments, and survivorship, as well as two years in family practice helping patients evaluate, treat, and manage chronic health conditions like blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and obesity.

Her path to medicine is deeply personal. At age 17, Jennifer was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma—an experience that not only shaped her understanding of patient care but ultimately inspired her calling to serve. With several family members in nursing and a community that supported her through her own illness, she felt compelled to give back in a way that honors both her journey and those who helped her heal.

Jennifer’s philosophy of care is rooted in collaboration, curiosity, and respect. She believes patients are the experts of their own bodies and strives to ensure that every individual leaves feeling truly heard. She treats patients of all ages, caring for both acute and chronic conditions, with particular clinical interests in hematology/oncology, depression, anxiety, women’s health, overall wellness, and disease prevention. Her transition into functional and integrative medicine allows her to blend traditional clinical expertise with root-cause, lifestyle-driven approaches that support whole-person health.

A committed lifelong learner, Jennifer has served on both local and national conference committees and is a recipient of the Josie King Foundation Hero Award for her excellence in patient safety.

Originally from Ohio, Jennifer has called the Hampton Roads area home since 1998. She loves its central location—close to the ocean, mountains, and city life. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, audiobooks, podcasts, TED talks, stand-up comedy, and spending quality time with her family and two fur pups!
Jennifer’s goal is simple: to guide each person toward feeling seen, supported, and truly well.

She is passionate about helping patients feel their best—physically, mentally, and emotionally, and invites individuals and families to partner with her on their health journey.

Angela Blaisdell, LME

Thirty-plus years. Thousands of clients. One philosophy: helping people live in full bloom where radiant skin, advanced esthetics and internal health work in harmony.

Shaped by over three decades in the beauty/medical aesthetics industry throughout the United States and Europe, Angela Blaisdell brings a rare fusion of advanced clinical skill, artistic precision and a whole-body wellness philosophy to every client she serves.

Sought-after in multiple beauty arenas, her career is punctuated by high-caliber work in places such as New York Fashion Week, educating professionals at international conferences, leading her own beauty product development and global distribution and extensive work within both spa, nail and medical aesthetics environments. Her uniquely comprehensive understanding of skin from both an artistic and clinical lens coupled with an evolution into integrative aesthetics truly sets Angela apart.

A longtime functional medicine patient at Williamsburg Drug Co. herself, Angela approaches skin as a reflection of internal health. She recognizes that inflammation, hormonal shifts, nutrient deficiencies, stress and metabolic imbalances may manifest first at the cellular level. Her treatment philosophy goes beyond surface-level correction. She creates customized, results-driven protocols designed to:

  •   Support collagen and elastin regeneration
  •   Enhance lymphatic flow and cellular turnover
  •   Address hormonal and menopausal skin changes
  •   Improve skin resilience and barrier health
  •   Promote long-term structural integrity and vitality

Angela has a special interest in women’s health, perimenopause and menopause-related skin changes and advanced skin science. She continuously expands clinical knowledge, examines medical literature, functional medicine education and ongoing advanced training.

Her clients receive care that aligns with the latest research in both aesthetics and wellness.

She is the proud mother of a son attending Liberty University and shares her home with two affectionate cockapoos, Ginny and Gavin, and her Air Force veteran husband, Jason.

Outside the treatment room, Angela is drawn to the ocean to chase sunsets, snorkel, and curate collections of rare and special seashells she transforms into art. A classically trained cellist and lifelong lover of music, she also values monthly gatherings with close friends centered on faith, encouragement and shared growth.

Angela is honored to continue serving her loyal clients while welcoming new ones into this elevated, integrative approach to aesthetic and functional wellness care where beauty is supported at its root and confidence is cultivated from within.
